This Mysterious Rotating Island Has Finally Been Explained

Located northwest of Buenos Aires, in Argentina, lies this strange mysterious circular island which. Its been the location of numerous unrelated UFO sightings and paranormal stories but also just explained!

I did this experiment as a kid up in Alaska at a bog. Many years ago. It wasn't as big as this island, but what I did was cut a circle with a machete. Then I cut a cone shape going down. The deeper roots stayed. It was only about 5 feet wide. I was in an area that has much running ground water. Many years later you can still see where I made the cut, but the roots have repopulated and only a circle where the roots have not populated completely, is visible. If you jump on the "Island" you can feel it move and bounce like if you where on a boat still. I was just messing around as a kid, but your story reminded me of this. Also my grandpa wanted to make a pond long before I was even born up there, I heard him and his friends used dynamite to move the mass of vegetation. Decades later the bog has recovered most of that and only a small "Puddle indent" is what is left of those results. Now nature has pretty much reclaimed itself to normal.

The Eye is just a floating mass of grass, like reeds, etc.
The bubbles? Carbon dioxide (and oxygen from springs)
Cold water? Springs make water cold
Rock bottom? ...Water erosion...?

I love videos like this because they do such a great job of not saying "That's a dumb idea" but instead give other examples, show known processes, and help to explain and educate. Heck, this one even says it's "unlikely" that it's a portal to another dimension/alien base/ etc, so folks can keep their stories alive... it just points out that there's a simpler, more realistic, explanation that encourages learning.
If more folks were willing to teach than start flame wars, we might be able to get a party together to address those rampaging trolls that keep attacking. You know.... without having to resort to D&D tactics.
