Amazing Case of Fractured Teeth Restored with Zirconia Crown #4k #C29

Yes! 7 years the patient waited before he finally restored his teeth. The patient had an accident that caused the fracture. We first restored the teeth with root canal therapy, followed by a core-build up using Rebilda DC, and finally fitted it with a Zirconia Crown for longevity.

I am a dentist who has been practicing for 31 years. I enjoy watching your videos during my spare time and we all can learn something from each other. I admire your work, and enjoy seeing another dentist who tries to do the best he can do for his patient. When ever I have to send a case back to the lab for them to re-do it, I do it since it is my reputation that is on the line, and I want to be known to do good work. Nice final results with tooth #8 and 9.

To be fair, dentists can be really expensive, and just because its expensive doesn't mean you will get what you want or that the dentist is a good one. Honestly I just feel bad that he had to wait 7 years to get that right budget and dentist worked out. Glad the patient found you tho, from what I've seen in your videos your a really good dentist!

You restored the teeth perfectly AND the patient's confidence. Quality work.

Most Dentists would have those two teeth extracted and put in a post and an implant for each tooth which will end up costing a fortune and very time consuming. I am glad you saved those two teeth and build them back up for the crowns.

A great dentist is worth every single penny. Amazing work. He must have felt fantastic with every photo of him laughing and smiling taken afterwards. So wonderful to see someone given their confidence back. In this case, I'm sure he wasn't even aware of how being confident in his smile even felt anymore. What a second hand thrill I got watching this. Great work! 👼

It's good to see someone restored their teeth after 7 years.
Me on the other side I can't afford to go to any dentist for my teeth is too damage that still until now it's getting more damage and with that the payment is too expensive for me. I am 19 years old with more than 15 damaged teeth and I am so insecure about it. I feel ashamed and too scared that even eating with people near me scares me. I am also anemic that I think one of the reason why my teeth is weak other than not brushing properly and eating sweets and drinking sodas.

I hope somebody can help me restore my teeth. And bring the smile that I've lost more than a decade now.

It was really amazing.
A big applause for you Dr. because the patient was OK with gap between two teeth but you were not. And you decided to replace it with good one. That's the spirit of perfection.

I am a great fan of Conservative dentistry. Saving a Tooth means a lot. Not many dentists value saving a tooth

I wish I could find a dentist with care and attention and non judgements like you, instead of harsh sloppy ones that have caused damage I have had

finding a dentist you can truly trust is hard, many will create problems on purpose so you keep coming back, the solution is to take care of your teeth so you can avoid dirty dentists entirely.

Modern dentistry is more like an art than science in some ways. Thanks to the patient too for letting you video the entire procedure for us.

WOW!!!! I know everyone jokes about man why do dentists make so much money? This this is why....those new teeth looks amazing!!! Sadly there are many many dentists out there that would have been like yeah those 2 front teeth need to go and we are just going to get you one of those flipper retainer type thing that you pop in and they would have 2 teeth on it to mimick the 2 front ones, basically they would just pull them and not have a care in the world. This was amazing to watch, please keep posting for all of us! 😃

Can't wait to see the 5-year outcome for this case. The right central incisor has a high risk of fracture where the crown comes off with all of the core build-up and some of the tooth structure and then there's nothing to do. I certainly hope your patient is well aware of the short term risks of failure. Assuming that proper informed consent is granted, this is masterful work. Very well done. You truly contributed to give your patient the best chance possible to keep his teeth.

Also, I understand that you didn't want to put a post because of the angulation but I encourage you to take into account your very own philosophy about adhesion: you decided to not use a post and rely only on adhesion to tooth structure. While I respect that, may I point out that adhesion also works on posts. Putting a post in this tooth, especially in a case of bad angulation, could have given an even better outcome especially because your build-up material would've been bonded to a structure (the post) that is in an angle which makes it even more difficult to fail and come off.
