For mine it seems that giving a quick sanding or scuffing up of the surfaces you glue together with super glue seemed to help as well, so they aren't so shiny and smooth, gives the glue more to "grab on to"

they look awesome, you should also check out the tanks from the series called "World War Toons" they been used on R/Orks for Grot tanks. the tanks can be bought at Hobby Lobby in the States

I love Grot Tank. I scratchbuild a bunch of them. Basically as long as you have tank treads you can build them out of any random stuff. Made a silicone mold of some tank treads and wheels (some GW, random toys, and some 3rd part) cast dozen of them, then Attach them to any random stuff, and add a turrent.

Grot Tanks are super fun. I'm not surprised most every 3rd party company makes them.

I've used the greenstuff trick many times to hold stuff while super glue cures. It works really good. Pinning works great too.

Awesome review, thanks a lot Stevo! Just a quick note about painting the resin. One wash will get rid of the release agent, but once that is gone paint bonds to the surface VERY well. I think it gets absorbed slightly, so yeah VERY good paint adherence. The gloss shine is the resin itself. I have broken my models but never had the paint rub off!

Grot Tanks look very cool but the armour plates have won me over. Definitely gonna get me some of those for my Orky town bloodbowl pitch. Great review Stevo, thanks 😃👍🏼

Sanding the surface to be glued, 'keys' them and gives the glue more to grab. I use joiner's mitre glue. ( gloopy supaglu and a spray activator ) which works well on most resins. Available at Screwfix etc.
