At 16:30 You can see that while you're placing asymmetric road, the game removes dedicated left turns. Because now you have 3 lanes to go straight and 1 lane to the left (4 total), so that you can't have dedicated lanes anymore (that's the answer to your question at 17:28)😊

In my youth, I used to get through traffic on my motorbike. It's a pity it does not happen in the game, seeing motorcycles dodging through traffic would be fun.

At 33:00 trying to figure out how to solve the lane switching. They don't have to switch lanes at all! Swap road sizes! The old direction to the city becomes an exit lane and continues as 1 lane, and the new entry point becomes main direction and now continues as double lane motorway all the way so the traffic will stay in their lanes.

Fatal flaw with the park and rides. They drive in from the edge of the map, stop at the park-n-ride, ride subway into town and do their business. Thats fine. But when business is complete, they get back on the subway, go back to the park-n-ride, get in their car and... have to drive all the way into town to turn around and go back the way they came.

Great video and I always enjoy these traffic fixes. I would have solved this quite differently. That interchange/exit you made, I would have basically made it a ring road/bypass road all the way to the high density which is where people want to get to, ultimately. The way I see it, having a single road in and out of that area is the primary problem. This is also where "realism" in initial planning can play a role in the game. That hill makes it difficult to get roads in and out of, which means there's less connectivity in general in hilly areas. That's why (among other construction-based engineering reasons) you don't often see those sorts of giant skyscrapers on top of hills/mountains. But, the fun of the game is that it doesn't need to be based in reality and that there's usually half a dozen ways to fix a problem. Everyone can just play how they want.

18:20 You can’t have dedicated turning lanes because of lane’s matematics Biffa:
You have a 3-lane road which comes to a junction with a 3-lane road + 1-lane road possibility. So cara have 4 lane choices at this junctions, that’s why you can’t have 3 dedicated lane arrows.

14:42. Biffa, you know what you could have done to this junction? Later in the video you added that subway from the main highway into the highrise.
an additional option for the highrise is splitting up traffic that is going to that highrise at this junction. Say, right hand traffic was to set for an alternative towards that highrise so that all those cars going there wouldnt have to go through the suburbs. The sucessful subway proofed the amount of traffic that was going to cut through the suburbs to get there.
But a verry nice fix again. Thank you! and as usual; Thumbs up!

Your a monster to the people who live on that street with all the schools.😂 4500 + elementary students in three buildings.... I don't even want to imagine the traffic in the mornings and afternoons

One thing that never got fully fixed was this. Where an overpass for pedestrians was added, the crossings on the ground were still there. Not only that, but there was more than one crossing on the same road, that both would have been served by the overpass, had they been deleted.

Instead of the parking lot with trains, I would just have done buses.
I haven't played this game in a long time, but if I recall correctly, the end of the road at the edge of the map acts as a bus top.
That way you get intercity bus routes, also I think it works the same with any sort of rail.

Amazed at the traffic backup then, @1:16, I spot the tell-tale starting connection for Corral Riches and think "Yup!" The 'fatal flaw' to this map is that the starting area is a complete cul-de-sac; 100% of outside connectivity is through that one spur.
