I'm pretty sure my boss does this somehow with my paycheck.

Answer: its not actually a triangle, the gradient of the A and B part is slightly diferent, and when you rearange the shapes in side, it creates a diferent shape that doesnt fill the container

Before the pieces are loose, later they are tighter

I saw a maths teacher explain this, i loved it!

A and B don't have the exact same slope, they're slightly different but it's not noticeable. But the difference in total area shows after rearrangement

The best part:he subtly mentions his sponsor without wasting screen time

Fun fact, people used to shave off gold from gold coins for this reason. Looks almost undetectable but you get an extra nugget at the end. Of course it was also punishable by death.

Space between the parts are not visible at the beginning and when you reorganize the parts, you can see the empty space. It's a cool puzzle.

In the beginning, the pieces in the triangle had some slack in the frame. When the pieces were rearranged, the slack was gone. That's how the illusion works

My theory is that the beginning set is a bit loose; there is uncovered area because the full shape doesn't take up the whole base. This is converted into a tight bunch of puzzle pieces shifting all that empty loose edges into a small square. No area is subtracted, merely shifted around with clever angles and lengths to create a second possibility

At the beginning the part's A, B, C and D have more space between then. When you rearrange the part's, they're more tight. There's no more the space between and now all that space is aggregated on that square...

Getting flashed by a link was unexpected.

There are actually little spaces between the puzzle pieces and ridges so when he changes the positions of the pieces it fits perfectly without leaving any space

I got it, all of the spaces is distributed at the edges in the beginning when you rearrange the parts all of space is concentrated in the missing square . Good puzzle .

I think the answer lies in the fact that in the original arrangement there are small separations or gaps between the pieces of the 'puzzle', the sum of which generates that empty space that is produced by rearranging them in a different way. Note that in that last figure, the pieces are very tight without those gaps

That’s the smartest nord vpn plug I’ve seen😂

In the first configuration all the “extra” space is even distributed around the edges. In the “missing square “ configuration, all the pieces are tight around the edges and all that space goes into the missing square.

The hypotenuse isn't straight, it points outwards ever so slightly, you can see that the hypotenuse of the two triangles don't join in a straight line, so when you rearrange them they fit more snuggly, creating space
