I am part of a church in NZ that had to leave the NZ Diocese after we did the same thing a few years ago. We had to leave our buildings behind and we now meet in a school staff room. But we still meet! Good is good and we will stay true to His word 👍

Beware of false prophets, Welby and the bishops have showed themselves. God is the ultimate authority that I answer to.

Thank God for churches like St Helens. God is Holy and will not tolerate sinful practices among his people. More fall-out to come I fear. Thanks Brett.

For those who have not visited St Helen's Bishopsgate in the City of London, I can highly recommend it. This is a very historic church built in the early 13th Century and has survived intact, including avoiding the Great Fire of 1666 and the Blitz in 1941/42. It was the frequented church of William Shakespeare. I also fully support the Rector of St Helen's in his current stand, and hope that the General Synod comes to its senses later this year and rejects the ludicrous proposals currently supported by the House of Bishops.

I am from the Roman Catholic tradition and it brakes my heart to see how the Anglican Church has been tearing itself apart for years now. I pray that sanity rules the day and the woke are turned out and the Anglican Church with all its cultural treasures survives this satanic assault. God bless and goodwill to you.

I pray for all Anglicans who hold fast to the Gospel and do not bow to the zeitgeist.

These are difficult times for those of us who are orthodox, bible based, anglican Christians. Our church here in Massachusetts (United States) found ourselves in the same position within the episcopal church. Our parish decided to leave the episcopal church and are now an Anglican Church within the ACNA. The challenges were many but have been met and overcome. My prayers go out to the many faithful who are pondering what course to follow.

I am not part of the
C of E. But we are praying for our faithful brethren who are true to the word of God.
May the Lord honour your faithfulness, provide and protect you.

I'm not an Anglican, but this happened some years ago in the church of Scotland- ministers do not have to conduct same sex ceremonies but they can apply to do so. Many evangelical bible believing churches went their own way and some ministers stood their ground. I'm praying for the church of England, and yes, Jesus is building his church! Blessings.

As a Christian who has chosen to worship, and serve our God in the Bapist Church, I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ, who are going through this difficult time of sifting by the Lord our God.
🙏🏻 Stand strong.

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves". We were told that there will be a great falling away from the true gospel in the last days. These actions of the false church must come to pass.🙏

Strange and difficult times, indeed. I'll send prayers for the strength of Rev. Murphy, Rev. Taylor, and all the faithful orthodox of Anglicanism, from the USA.

I have friends who belong to a garrison church which is CofE who had a vicar who claimed to be an atheist. He was supplied through the Army Chaplain Corps. I'm still scratching my head over how someone can perform a liturgy with no belief in God. I Ave been Orthodox for 24 years now and when I look back on this church and other mainline Protestant churches it's like going back to the town you grew up in to find everything has been torn down

Thanks Fr Brett, especially for your concluding thoughts, as I am torn between remaining with the CofE and doing my best to continue to love and guide the flock but in the knowledge that the Church as an institution is going against God's very word, or do I leave happy in the knowledge that I have left a corrupt institution but unhappy in the knowledge that I have left a congregation at the mercy of deceivers, a congregation still very much in need of the true word of God. It's a tough decision that we are all facing! Keep up the good work. Thanks.

God doesn't dwell in temples. church buildings, made by the hands of men, but in the hearts and lives of those who follow Jesus Christ and are obedient to the entire word of God.
