I can't help but this this is difficult to control and hard on the knees/joints when going up a slight incline.
Much as you do when walking your pulling your body forward and to perform this operation while in a seated position requires additional use of the knee and upper leg muscles. This short video shows the group doing exactly the opposite, if you notice they are coming down an incline and most are going too fast.
Again putting strain on knees and joints.
