true, it's one of the cheapest Gibson Les Pauls, but that's not why it interests me. my favorite Les Paul has always been the Special. i love it's simplicity. i like Teles and Les Pauls, i have ALWAYS loved the Special.
i just always wished it had top contours and maybe thinner or a belly-cut.
the Modern Lite sounds PERFECT for me, in theory. and, what-do-you-know, inverness green is one of my favorite guitar colors.
i might just get a Gibson after all. unless Epiphone do their "Inspired" version before i can save up for the Gibson. then i'll get the Epi, throw some SD Pearly Gates in it and call it a day.
