Kenobi fight but the excessive camera shake is fixed

Me and my friends watched Kenobi but got absolutely sick of seeing the goddamn shaky cam in every shot.
I don't know if the camera op has parkinsons or if they thought they were shooting taken 4 but I tried my best to fix it.
This took no effort really but I'd appreciate a subscribe for our other funny vids.

Shaky cam is fun for some parts of fighting but they literally had a shaky cam for a Vader close-up pan around. Drove me nuts

The camera man is probably drunk in the Obiwan series. Even when standing still it was shaky as hell.

I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one who was annoyed by this. Pretty much the entirety of the last two episodes had shaky cam and it took me out of the best parts of the show (the flashback and final fight)

This is SO GOOD; makes the whole cinematography much better, any chance you could do more scenes like that? You earned a new subscriber

Yes, I was so perplexed by the cinematography in this show. Made everything look so cheap. That’s what’s most frustrating about this show is that most of its issues could be simple fixes (edit out unnecessary scenes, camera shake, and music)

This fight is literally the most powerful being in the universe being bullied by a hermit

The damn camers shake ruined it for me. Felt like a random police chase

I was literally talking to my father not even a few weeks ago when reminiscing about this fight. The thing that made the old fights so special was not only the vigorous fight choreography and the amazing amount of work that went into each one, but the steady cameras and minimum takes in the heat of the moment that could let us see all of the action. Shaking the camera can help provide impact and make a scene feel more explosive and powerful, like when Obi Wan clobbered Vader with those rocks, but things like the clashes and the actual fighting didn't need any. Maybe minimum camera shake with Obi-Wan slamming his saber into Vader's life support, but that's all I'd do.

This is SO much more epic without the shaky cam! Thanks!

Great work! There are many parts of this show i enjoyed, the incessant shaky cam was not one of them. One particularly nausea inducing scene was when they're planning Leias rescue from the inquisitors, they're literally just standing around a table chatting, but you feel like you're 8 tequila shots deep into a Friday night because the camera man surely must've been.

I'm so glad someone did this, so thank you for this. I honestly enjoyed the series, however the camera man looked like they got hopped up on caffeine and filmed it one handed with a handheld, which really took me out of the fight. I thought, surely its just me getting old, but then I re-watched the episode 3 fight and it was smooth as butter. This feels more in-line with the movies.

Imma be honest with you…this doesn’t look edited at all 😂 ITS SO GOOD!

I understand camera shake can increase intensity, but for fight scene it’s so much more harder cause they’re moving a lot more and it also ruins the beautiful choreography especially when they do it right and know how to choreograph greatly like Ewan and Hayden. It’s bad to the point you question what’s going on during the fight at times. The chore is good, but the camera movements made me think…eh? Revenge of the Sith hardly had any camera shake for intensity and ITS HELLA INTENSE! I love this fight scene! Even looking at Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Donnie Yen, Hong Kong films where they’re popular for wide shots, one shots, choreography, and rarely any camera shake. It brings intensity AND entertainment. Recent good American one is Shang-Chi, which Jackie’s stunt team helped on. I’m all about “Camera tells a story on its own”, but it’s to the point where nowadays fight scenes are getting ruined by “creative decisions” on cameras. It helps to hide if the actor is “bad” at choreo, but if they’re good? Why ruin it.

The shaky cam ruined the show for me because a rewatch would be painful. How could they do Obi Wan dirty like this. This should have been filmed just like the prequels were because the shaky cam made it feel like a fan film
