Switching to the CSB

After much prayer, research, and discussion, we're making the switch to the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) translation. There are a number of reasons, but its readability is towards the top of the list. This doesn't mean you need to get a new Bible, just that Pastor Bryan Catherman will be preaching from the CSB and our pew Bibles will be of the same translation. Great choice! I love the CSB, it's my favourite translation. It's very accurate, but very readable too. I find it as accurate as the ESV, but as readable as the NIV.

Too bad your new CSB Bibles will be obsolete very soon because they just updated the text this year (2020). I just got a CSB Apologetics Study Bible myself last year (2019) and the fact that Holman updated the text so soon really irked me. I do welcome the improvments tho but knowing that the same were done too soon makes me feel bad. I hope they make the new updated CSB available soon so I can replace mine. I'm still sticking with the ESV but I do like the CSB. By the way, the CSB Study Bible is awesome, I think it can even compete witht he ESV Study Bible.
