Scotland 2022 a 4 Day Trip...

Join us on our little trip through the Highlands of Scotland. We flew into Edinburgh, grabbed our rental car and drove out to Glencoe. The drive took us over three hours due to just wanting to enjoy the drive and stopping and taking photos. You will find it hard not to stop and take in the beautiful scenery. We stayed at the Whispering Pine Lodge which is located on the banks of the Loch Lochy. We would highly recommend this location if you are comfortable with being distant from any touristy traps. The staff were very friendly, hotel was very clean and the place overall felt very warm and cozy. In the area there are not many restaurants and the ones that do exist within driving distance are in other hotels so reservations are suggested. The highlands of Scotland are an outdoor enthusiasts dream. With world class hiking, fishing, photography, boating between the lochs and the friendliness to campers. The highlands of Scotland are a must see for any adventurer seeking an epic road trip with what seems to be endless opportunities to get out and explore. We found Edinburgh to be a fantastic, vibrant city with tons of shopping, eateries, pubs and architecture. There is even a great hike to Arthurs seat just outside the city of Edinburgh which will give you a great view that can’t be beat.
