Maras Dondurma: Traditional Turkish ice-cream unlike any other

Turkish ice cream is unlike any other dessert of its kind anywhere in the world. Known as maras dondurma, its unique ingredients and dense texture comes from a recipe dating back hundreds of years. TRT World's Shamim Chowdhury travelled to the town of Kahramanmaras, where the delicacy originates from - and to try and discover the secret behind it.

I eat it back in 1994 in Alanya for the first time and it's better then Italian or other ice cream! It's like marshmallow fluff in consistency but you have to try it to understand it's great.

I'm Turkish but I have a bit of English. First of all, Turkish ice cream is called Maraş ice cream, it's taken from Maras snow and there's special goat's milk. If you haven't eaten it, it's perfect 😀😀😀
