Turkish sticky ice-creams, or Maraş Dondurması, is believed to have originated in the southeastern city of Turkey, Maraş. The stickiness comes from the special ingredient called "salep", which comes from a type of orchid widely found in Maraş. A good Maraş ice-cream should be made from goat's milk, but it is probably very difficult to find such.

I'm Turkish but I have a bit of English. First of all, Turkish ice cream is called Maraş ice cream, it's taken from Maras snow and there's special goat's milk. If you haven't eaten it, it's perfect 😀😀😀
