Just took my cdl class A test, and passed everything except the reverse offset! I love that you said when you turn the steering wheel don't roll! I think that's what messed me up! I lost 10 points hitting the cones, and 8 was the limit!

This is week two of CDL school for me, and my second day in the cab. I'm comfortable with straight backing, so now my instructor is going to have us do offset tomorrow. I'm studying this video like crazy.

This is the only video I found that's actually helpful. I'm currently struggling to do offset backing both to the Left and to the Right, I haven't had a chance to try the 90 degree and 45 degree alley dock backing yet. I really need to get better as soon as possible.
