Sometimes I use my Sister's Mac Book charger and it charges it better than the official Switch charger.

The last two will work great, but remember Nintendo doesn't recommend it.

As someone who just found out the offical switch chargers existed I can safely say that while the 3rd party chargers do not damage your switch they take a century to charge it.

The problem is the charging standart. Some chargers output the wrong voltage and fry the charging controller to perfection

I use my chrome book charger and I have had no issues. I do want to get a new switch tho because mine is a V1 and it’s starting to slow down a bit.

TRUE!! I've used official, good unofficial, but the bad one gave me the screen 12 second error, and just like that broken switch.

I just use the one I got from my MacBook Pro, it’s perfect. Apple’s a stickler on chargers similar to Nintendo, so it makes perfect sense that their charger works with the switch

Any charger will charge it as long it’s usb c it doesn’t need to be official Nintendo is just saying that so you pay them more of your money. If you have a 20w charger or more it will work and charge at the same rate as the giant brick

The problem is that the USBc is a bit different than the actual switch port, because of this it may mess up the shape and insides of the charger port

NOTE: It's also important to get a good speed on the charging brick. Most smartphones' chargers nowadays are 18W or more, so they're good enough

I mostly use USB C on handheld because my cord was intended as a charger for the XBOX Elite S2 which came with a cord + it’s really long

I literally use my chrome book charger when I don’t want to get up from the couch and grab the switch charger

My friend uses one and I borrowed it once for a road trip, and it was pretty good.

To me any usb c cable takes an hour to just charge 10%

I once used a third party charger and it fried my switch.
Luckily I had a warranty, but it was before Switch Online so I lost all my saves.
The reason third party cables fry your switch is because Nintendo uses an altered version of the standard power delivery protocol, so chargers that use the standard protocol can send too much power. Wulff Den has an entire YouTube series about this.

I’ve seen heaps of charging chips break on the switches. So I’m keeping the OEM one just to keep the voltages right
