This is EXACTLY what happened to me despite being very thin I had a very round short face and fixing my overbite with Invisalign made it much more harmonious and longer but I stayed on the same aligner for over a month and now my face went back but started again and it’s looking better again so I’m afraid it may just be temporary 😢

Born with a cleft lip/palate; had an underbite (lower jaw extended beyond upper jaw) and lots of dental abnormalities because of it. Had braces from age 13 to age 21 plus orthognathic surgery to correct the under-development of the upper jaw (so technically, everything was done for primarily practical reasons; teeth alignment along with other reasons).

The change in facial attractiveness is staggering, legitimately. I'm not a 10 by any means, but ever since that surgery I've felt so much more confident in my face and smile. Orthodontic work is legitimately fantastic, even if the process can be a bit of a pain in the ass.

Well yeah I was way better looking after I was done with braces. Overbite gone, really nice smile. Made a huge difference in my case I think
