Wire Stripper | Homemade Wire Stripping Jig

This is the easiest way to make a wire stripping jig for any size of wire and cable. I found this homemade wire stripper jig very simple and easy to use and it can strip wire insulation from 4 mm wire to 16 mm wire easily. I use here 3/4" plywood and paper cutter knife as basic materials.

By not limiting the blade to cut only the insulation, this tool damages the strands of the wire.

The fact you needed to put something to press the blade down is also scary.. Thats a break away blade... Its ok to remove the ends of wire but I would stick with the actual Tool over this, less risk of a nasty cut..
