Seth Rollins character arc is so great. He did what he said he was gonna do which was be Cody Rhodes shield as he wore that vest with the shield theme song playing to remind Roman Reigns of the trauma and betrayal that took place a decade ago when Seth Rollins stabbed him in the back. He also sacrificed himself so that Cody Rhodes finishes his story. Fantastic storytelling at its finest.

Undertaker, Rock and Cena have been the pillars of WWE. It felt nostalgic. Wow… seeing the legends go against each other really made me feel as if it is the old wwe of 2000s era

Massive respect to Seth Rollins. This man closed the show on night 1, started the show on night 2, lost both matches, interfeereed again on the main event with the Shield theme song to distract Roman. This man deserves his flowers

I remember as a 10 year old when I first watched WM1 on tv from Australia. My dad was hooked to WWF and made me recorded every week for so many years, we had a collection of more then 100 VCR tapes. Dad’s no longer with us anymore😢 watching WM40 brings back so many memories with my dad. Best WM by far.

Seth Rollins was Cody Rhode's shield, quite literally and contextually.

Atoned for his sin of betraying the shield. Hit by the chair like how he did it to Roman. Even fell down like Roman.

Peak storytelling.
