If no one else has, can I just call out Charles Robinson? The way he presented the belt to Cody, the look in his eyes, the “You did it!” look on his face. That really helped solidify what a great moment this was.

From Legacy, to Dashing, to Stardust, to Ring of Honor, to Bullet Club, to winning the NWA title from Nick Aldis at the very first All-In, to forming his own wrestling company in the form of All Elite Wrestling, to his now iconic return at WrestleMania 38, to battling with a torn pec in a Hell in a Cell, to nearly having it at WrestleMania 39, to Brock at Summerslam, to Wargames, to becoming the fourth man ever win back-to-back Royal Rumbles, to finally finishing his story at WrestleMania 40.

His journey was long and arduous, but he now stands head and shoulders with Bruno Sammartino, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena and Roman Reigns as the face of Professional Wrestling.

Dusty Rhodes would be proud to see his son today.

The embrace from Brandi, The big hug from Michael Cole, mama Rhodes in tears, Samantha Irvin in tears, the locker room on the ramp giving a standing ovation, WWE staff coming out to show respect and shake Cody’s hand, etc. The amount of respect that Cody Rhodes has backstage is incredible!
