Thank you for the Fall reminder. I put treatment in the one and only hive I’ve got this year, and removed the honey super. There were a lot of bees balled up under the stand, so I added brood box. This morning I found them still balled up. No swarm cells so hope they hang around. Thanks for great filming coverage 🌻🐝

I love how you keep the edge of the box clean. It drives me crazy watching people try to put boxes back together with a quarter inch of propolis on them. :-) Nothing wrong with a little OCD. 😄 👍 THANKS

Thank you for the information. I was unsure as where to position my apiguard treatment. From a previous years, note I wrote myself to position them between the two brood boxes. I am running deeps, and it looks you are using mediums, and you placed your treatment on top of the two medium brood boxes. That would make life much easier. I will do that the next time, in two weeks (but still have to remove the current treatment card positioned between the brood boxes.). Secondly, I am also disturbed about how i have the supports for my hives arranged. I am using the 8X8X16 cinder blocks but am running my 4X4”s through the holes in the top cinderblock. That does not leave a lot of distance between the two 4X4’s, and the hives seem tippy. You have your 4X4’s sitting right on top, at the edge
of the cinder blocks, and presumably that is more stable than the way I have them arranged. Will remodel everything in two weeks when I do the next apiquard treatment. Hope the weather cooperates in two weeks.

You said it doesn’t go out of date but it has a 3 year expiration date

I see some of your inner covers have outside vent holes and some don't. Which one do you recommend and why.

First time using apiguard trays. 3rd year beekeepers here.. so you don't put anything in between, not 1 tray of treatment per brood box?
