What a great video! A good summary for every Asian girl who has struggled with eye makeup and learned things the hard way!

Years ago, my naturally pretty elder sister got her makeup done at a beauty salon for her high school graduation. She was so excited and thought she'd come out looking fabulous, but she ended up looking horrible because the makeup artist had no idea how to work with her tiny monolid eyes. She had on this metallic light blue eyeshadow to match her gown and her eyes just looked very small, exactly as demonstrated in this video!

At my own graduation, I went mostly barefaced because I was afraid I'd look worse with full makeup (like my sister did) lol! A few years later, after the Korean Hallyu wave came out, I was then able to observe on TV (no Netlfix back then) how Korean stars wore makeup and learned that American style makeup was not the only way to do things (because the latter was just not working for me).

You are so funny 😂 I too have Asian eyes and no matter how much I try if I do any kind of eye make up my eyes just looks more smaller so I never do any eye make up ... Rarely some mascara
