I did this a while back. As much as I agree that you get more energy that time was probably the most toxic relationship I have had with food. I was miserable. I realise this will not be the same experience for everyone but I am all for eating it in moderation now.

I cut out sugar (candy, choco, baked goods) and dairy (cheese, milk, yogurt) from my normal day to day diet and it's the best choice I've ever made for my skin and digestion. There are times when I'll have a slice of cake or donut but it's not an every day all day thing. My skin does so much better and I'm not as stressed.

Guys she’s saying to cut out added/ processed sugar like cane sugar and corn syrup- the stuff found in soda, cookies, ice cream and so on. Sugar from fruits and whole grains is naturally occurring and completely healthy. If you want something sweet try having an apple rather than a cookie.

balance is a key for a good life!! Our body needs everything from fat to sugar, from the “childhood” food to this healthy /normal alternatives. I’m gonna say this diet can be cool for a few weeks- it’s my opinion but remember don’t neglect your health (check your blood test and listen to your body)

I had restricted sugar for 3.5 years. I agree all, except 1. You get less energy and it's hard to endure if you are a college student 😢

People saying it gives them depression and anxiety... Listen lovely souls, dont push yourself so hard. Your body and mind needs time to adapt changes. When i first thought to quit sugar it was quite a decision. But gradually i adapted and now i dont crave for unwanted binge stuff or sugary foods either. It's a healthy choice. But YOLO so you can have your cheat days in between not so often but once in a month is ok i guess.

All that is important is give yourself time to adapt. It's a whole MIND BODY CONNECTION!

I made a decision to stop eating sugar three years ago. I still have little dark chocolate and berries but that’s it. I don’t miss the stomach pain and dark patches on my skin.
