Gotta love these newscasters, announcing devastation and destruction with that perky, upbeat, chipper little voice.

We were very lucky in N Naples. Never lost power. But 4 miles away was total devastation 😢

This couldn't possibly be the same Gov that voted against helping NY and Jersery out during Sandi, could it?

You know I get so sick of every hurricane being categorized as the worst ever...Katrina still kicked Ian's butt... over 200 mile an hour winds. Ian was nasty but not the worst ever recorded. Got to keep your eyes out for media drama, Katrina is still the worst hurricane to hit the states in all of recorded history. With the exception of one way back in the 30's... can't remember that name but it wiped EVERYTHING OFF THE LAND, not even sticks were standing, palm trees were snapped in half, storm surge was over 20ft... beware false statistics every time.

You live in "hurricane alley", how could you expect anything else? Sometimes you win, and sometimes you loose.
