How to Install a Shaker Hood Bubble and Assembly on a 1970 Plymouth Hemicuda!

This is a video about how to install a shaker hood on 1970 Plymouth Hemicuda. To take it off just do the reverse! Everybody wants a shaker hood car but it is quite the process to take it off. Lots of bolts and cables to bring off. Pretty simple process just a lot of steps and you have to be very careful.

Our feature car here is a 1970 Plymouth Hemicuda. Very unusually optioned with BL1 Sandpebble Beige which we believe this is the only Hemicuda with that paint color. Also has a bench seat, column auto and standard dash. Car came in to do a tune up, get it to run a little better and fix some paint on the driver door.

Huge pain………awesome result That shaker assembly.
Mine had no conductor straps. Pokey thing was removed by others. Same with drain hoses. Never knew about them for quite some time.

Thanks for the education. Had to go back and watch this video again after bringing home a shaker 70 'cuda last week. Had no idea about grounding straps and yes, they are a PITA but It's a Shaker!

With cruise control on mileage from 32 mpg to 35 mpg ; yes that is no mistake ! But at high mileage many failures the Mrs., was not a happy camper. Happy wife happy life : not ! Fiberglass maybe? it looks like my ford Shaker, pita to maintain. someone deleted the doors on mine. Its on my list to repair and replace the door in it.
