What is Yin Yoga? It's a slower, meditative style of yoga that uses bodyweight and gravity to apply gentle stress on our joint tissues. Integrating Eastern and Western perspectives, the Yogawise Yin Yoga training approaches anatomy from the viewpoint that we are uniquely structured, and can learn to gauge our range of movement via careful analysis of body position and sensory awareness. Through attention and intention, we lay the groundwork for mindfulness and stillness practices, such as meditation, and restore the balance of our nervous system.
