In this episode of the Psychology Talk Podcast, Dr. Hoye speaks with Kelly Mahler, OTR. Kelly is a pediatric occupational therapist in the Central Pennsylvania region. She specializes in the development of self-regulation and social cognition skills.

Kelly is the winner of multiple awards including the 2020 American Occupational Therapy Association Emerging and Innovative Practice Award & a Mom’s Choice Gold Medal. She is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Elizabethtown College, in Elizabethtown, PA and is actively involved in several research projects pertaining to topics such as interoception, self-regulation, trauma & autism.

Kelly is also the author of several books including Sensory Issues and High-Functioning Autism Spectrum and Related Disorders, The Interoception Curriculum and My Interoception Workbook.
