Yep, lack this at all. Which causes I don't eat until my stomach literally hurts and then again stop if I feel so full I feel I need to vomate.
Not good.
And drinking is really hard as I nearly never feel thirsty and therefor often don't manage to drink even one full liter a day.

Exactly spot on. I wait to long to go to the bathroom, I’ve never had good hunger signals, overate and underate my entire life, had an obsession with candy as a kid, and I never know when to drink water. Regarding food, when my parents picked up on this in me they abused me severely for it. I ate Hershey’s kisses to the point of illness and my dad beat me nearly bloody for it - welted my body. My mom used to say “moderation” but when I didn’t listen - because as a child I didn’t understand moderation - she would rage on me and call me stupid. I think this fostered eating disorders in me my entire life, but also, not getting the signals is natural to me. It’s just how I am. If I didn’t keep bottles of water around me - I would never drink. Thank you, Thomas. 💜

This is definitely something I struggle with, especially when I get hyperfocussed on a task/special interest. In those instances I lose track of time and my interoception goes completely out the window.
I have found that getting into weight lifting and body building has really helped me develop interoception, partly because it forces me to really focus on how my body functions and responds to nutrition/exercise.

Eating Disorders are not that uncommon for austistc and very prevalent in autistic girl. Many get treatment or diagnosis for eating disorders first.
