PVD and DLC are similar but different. DLC is almost scratch proof and is far more scratch resistant than PVD.

I love when the “experts” recite something they just read from Wikipedia … PVD 😂

I’ve daily and combat worn a DLC Daytona for ten years and it doesn’t have a single mark on it. It looks brand new. God knows what you have here

Just a note to all the people saying that this isn't DLC, or it should be scratch proof or "I've owned a DLC watch and it's not scratched. DLC/PVD is only as strong as what it's coating. Rolex stainless is very soft due to the corrosion resistant properties, It's like putting DLC/PVD on a sponge cake, the coating doesn't make the cake diamond hard.

They hate it when a man actually wears his watch 🤣

I’d buy just like that. Gives it character

PVD (physical vapor deposition isn't even close to dlc coating dlc is way harder and they got nothing to do with each other because they are made for diffrent type of metals

This is how every watch should look like, is not destroyed, it is perfect. I would buy it as it is.

Diamond Like Carbon Coating and PVD are two different processes that one is the later.

It's DLC, it's great on knife blades, very tough, doesn't reflect.

PVD Rolexes reminds me of Honda Civics with blacked out stock wheels, headlights and logos

Distressed/worn blueing and pvd has a cool aesthetic to it.

My Casio MR-G DLC has been a daily beater tool watch for me since 2007 and still looks brand new

That guy can get the PVD coating removed. Pay $500 bucks. Then sell it for $15K

I think it looks cool like that! Anyone can have a plain old Hulk, that Hulk is awesome now

I’m curious, if PVD is hard like a diamond. Then why the scratches. Perhaps a different comparison is in order. Or no comparison at all. Just say, its a fancy coating that scratches. Easily apparently.
