whats the context here. i live part time in the city of leavenworth kansas. almost all of the police here are really cool or retired military. they dont give me shit they are willling to risk their lives and help people though. allegedly my brother has a felony count on DUI and they leave him alone when he has two flags in his window to show them hes transporting my dying dad with heart failure and dementia who is also a veteran. My dad salutes every flag he sees its a big part of the OCD for his dimentia. pretty sure my bro finally got the interlock but i remember riding with them and handing him my id incase cuz we twins. and the cops knew exactly who we were small town kinda. and they didnt just leave us alone they would make others slow down just with their presence. ont time had feed geese on some college campus and security lit us up my dad loves feeding geese. and cops came right up on the security and said its okay and explained the situation and now we are the only ones allowed to feed the geese lol

It’s crazy that the police still can’t figure out why the public has turned on them. It seems pretty obvious to me. Imagine being a cop and saying “don’t talk…” and it doesn’t set off an alarm inside your head for violating the first amendment. Beyond redemption.
