I grew up shooting an old WWII M1 Carbine of my fathers, and I really loved that round.

I remember when I was younger my dad had bought a reloading system and subsequently placed me in a stool to reload munitions. It was a single press like this one and boy I tell you what that shit sucked. I had more fun playing with the projectile cause of how they sounded and how damn smooth they were.(I’m not autistic I swear)

First rifle I ever shot as a five year old kid.... First shot, under the instructions of my father, first bulls eye....Truly one of the easiest rifles to use, little is done past a few hundred yards, but it's not exactly the purpose it served when it was designed. Legend had it that it was built to fill a gap between the M1 Garand, and the 45 pistol that was in use.... The Either way, a few outfits manufactured a bunch of em, they're all pretty much the same as the military issued, nice little strap on it, not too big, nice little rifle with a good amount of pop to it.

About the only way i can get ammo for my M1 nowadays lol. Also, I've got the exact same handguard for mine. It just looks cool and i feel that it performs better in heat

I spent many nights loading up 12g shells and 270 shells with grandpa. Lots of hunting stories, and twice as many lies. But still great fun.
