I know a lot of you are here because of Linkin Park, but Dead Sara (and this song in particular) deserved all of this attention so much sooner. This song is a gutwrenching masterpeice and this band is one of the best of the last 30 years. They should have become big based on their work alone.

The more I go through Emily's history, the more I understand why she vibes with Linkin Park. She's raw, real, goofy as fuck and doesn't give a fuck. The true void in LP was the free attitude of chester combined with the raw talent.. and that group was a family. For Emily to have joined LP, she's a fucking real one. They would never have brought her in if she wasn't. I'm so excited to see what her and Mike wrote together lyrically.

in 2012 I was less than an hour from killing myself. no bullshyt, I'd already written letters to my daughter's, I was looking for a song saying "I'm sorry" to go with the letters. This song came up, I hit play, and within the first 30 seconds rivers of tears were flooding down my face as my pain was being purged from my soul. I listened to the song continuously for 3 days, over, and over, and over no sleep, no thoughts, no breaks, just this song, Emily's voice, her passion, her pain, her love, and the beautiful instrumentation of her band mates were like Angels sent from heaven to save a lost soul who thought he had no place left in this world. This band, and this song saved a life, it still saves my life as I fight my demons within.
