Let me tell you why hafiz is used first and then Kaafir later
Acc to Arabian nights when Majnu is trying to memorize the Quran he was unable to spell out Allah, he used to always say Laila for which he used to get hitting from his master.
As he was memorizing the Quran, as any person who memorizes the Quran is called hafiz but this guy was using Laila word in place of Allah, joining names or replacing names with Allah is the biggest sin(known as shirk) for which your declared Kaafir.
Hence the words Hafiz and Kaafir come in the song.
