This song... it's a match on the rift.  Let me explain...

0:00 - You spawn onto your fountain, and that familiar line plays: "Welcome To Summoner's Rift"

0:10 - Laning phase begins.  Your team pulls ahead early, you gain a few kills, and take a dragon early on.

0:30 - The first teamfights of midgame begin. Despite your lead, the enemy team wipes yours twice. They catch up. The game is now even.

0:48 - The enemy team begins to siege your midlane towers.  They take the outer and inner turrets, but your team holds on, fending them back from the inhibitor tower.  They take two dragons during this time, and your team is officially behind.

1:27 - Your team has a decision to make: Do you keep turtling out while they rotate to the outer lanes to take more towers, or do you try and sneak a dragon kill to try to bring yourselves back?  You decide to go for the risky play.

1:41 - Your team is taking dragon, the enemy team was pushing through your top and bottom lanes, but is now missing.


2:00 - The enemy team shows up at dragon while you are taking it, they had wards.  Your jungler lands a clutch smite, stealing dragon from under their noses.  Your team peels for your carries, and you win the teamfight, losing only your tanks.  You press up their midlane, wiping turrets away like they're not even there. 

2:20 - The enemy team respawns as you take their midlane inhibitor, but your toplaner teleports in for another 5v5 teamfight.  You barely win this one.  Only your Marksman remains.

2:40 - The enemy Nexus's health drops to zero.  The ending cutscene plays.

2:47 - A single word appears on the screen, clad in gold and blue.  Victory.

I'm so glad Riot are putting real effort into making and publicizing an OST. It's something that so many games overlook when it is certainly one of the more important elements in making a game go further than just being good.
