I wish riot didn't stop with the their worldbuilding. It really does improve the experience of the game and it used to be cool to read the lore and getting to know why they're fighting in the leauge, but now there hardly is any lore anymore especially not anything explaining why the champions went to fight in the leauge.

You know discounting lore / champions league has quite the world to it in areas. Just think what a league mmo could do for visiting areas from shurima to the crystal scar to the freyjord all to way to the unnamed lands Olaf is from.

Imagine League RPG. You explore whole Runeterra. Deserts of Shurima, Mountain Targon, Freljord etc.
It would be epic
EDIT: Yep, this has aged well. We will get Ruined King and I can't express how much I am excited for it
EDIT 2: Ruined King is a big disappointment :(

While others bicker, we prepare. When the time is right, we will strike. They cannot withstand us, they are only human. And when the war is over, the world, our world, will be reborn - in ice.

Clarity

This was really the beginning of Riot making great music. When the Freljord event first happened with the release of Lissandra and the rework of Sejuani and Trundle, hearing this theme gave me freakin' goosebumps and got me hyped, especially because Sejuani was my favorite champ and I loved the rework. This was really the first of many in Riot's beautiful musical pieces.
