PlayStation turns 25 years old and breaks record

Sony's PlayStation video game console is celebrating its 25th birthday. The console was released to the public on December 3, 1994, in Japan and became the fastest console to sell 120 million units. All PlayStation consoles combined have sold more than 450 million units, setting a Guinness World Record.

I'm more of a Sony PlayStation (as well as a Nintendo, Sega, and PC) person than a Microsoft Xbox person. Besides, I'm so very glad that PlayStation has won a Guinness World Record award for being the best-selling console brand. Therefore, whatever games that were only released on original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One should be (and should've been) ported on PC, even via Steam.

Just HALF of all the trillions of hours spent playing PS games would have eliminated world poverty 10 times over. FACT. Not to mention all the ruined relationships, all the booze-filled playing sessions, all the undone homework, all the unwashed dishes, all the decades of youth lost to this fantasy world. The real world matters way more.
