The train keeps moving because it uses two levers the throttle/brake and reverser witch can reverse the train when applied and they stay in place they don’t just spring back that’s why runaway trains are a thing

What’s funny is the train has stoped for me when I had the cops on me in gta online but it started back about a minute later

the train stops at the power station and you can stop it in an auto shop mission

If you put sticky bombs near the train driver and look away when they expload it doesn't kill him but changes him
