To this day, one of the most poweful things ive ever been told by a therapist is, "Human beings are the ONLY animal that has intincts, and intentionally ignores them."

When children tell you that they don’t like an adult, listen to them.

This happens at work almost daily when people above you gaslight or micro-hate on you for no reason at all.

The trick is to remove yourself from their presence for a lengthy period. Then pay close attention how you feel when you encounter them again. Because physical closeness can damage your perception of how you feel when in their presence consistently. You may become who they want you to be to serve them, abandoning your true self and never realizing it.

When a wise person is speaking please don't interrupt them, even if you mean well. They are in a state of flow. 😇

I believe in the past, when I didn’t trust my feelings, it came from being gaslit as a child and taught to disregard my feelings. On my healing journey, I’ve learned to trust them again.

My daughter went out with this cute guy who looked great on paper, but she said it was something about him that made her not want him to touch her, so she followed her instinct and didn't go out with him again. I told her there's a reason he gave her the creeps so always follow your instincts, no matter what.

This is precisely what Emerson meant when he said,

"We are wiser than we know."

Yup first time I met my now ex. Knew something was not right. He did show me a Huge red flag, but decided to give him another chance after he begged me. People believe them when they show you who they are please! Leave before it gets worse and too late.

I once sensed that something really wrong was happening because I started feeling nervous, suspicious of my boyfriend and I thought it was my ego but sadly it was not. Soon after. I descovered I was being cheated on and betrayed by my boyfriend. God helped me to find out...Then I learned to trust me more.

I no longer rely on alcohol to numb the energy coming from the world. The more spiritually fit I am, the better I can trust my instincts and steer clear of bad vibes.
Speak less, listen more. React less, observe more.

People show their hand quickly but we ignore it

I also find that friendships with people I initially feel comfortable with tend to fade quickly. Where as the ones that last are often with people that I initially didn’t feel comfortable with.

Because we are taught to not trust our guts/instincts. We are told we are being judgy, shallow, paranoid, or pessimistic. I also know now the moment I decided I don't care what anyone thinks- my instincts are right. I remember all the moments.

In metaphysical studies I have read that this is actually your aura, bumping up against theirs and not “gelling”. Literally your energetic ethereal body is like “ NOPE.”
I have a theory that when we tell children that ghosts ect don’t exist when they are little that it closes off part of the sensory that we need when we get older; think about it. It’s like when you’re in the woods and you feel like you’re being watched. You ignore it, but there’s a reason your brain and body are telling you that info, right?
There is all sorts of research about extra sensory and what we would call psychic abilities. Super fascinating deep dive.
