Top 10 Worst Grinds in BFA

Battle for Azeroth was released in August of 2018 and is notorious for its grueling grinds and long hours needed to make progress and acquire gear or collectables, often lasting for a whole patch or the entire expansion. So in this video we’ll be going over the worst grinds of BFA.

I was a new player during BfA and I gleefully did the allied race grind for every race. It never felt tedious to me, I guess cause the idea of reps was still new to me and because I loved just running around the zones so much that doing world quests was super enjoyable. I also still loved leveling characters because I wasn't entirely burnt out from having done it 2+ dozen times.

The Visions and Corrupted Gear were some nice Additions in my opinion. It gave you some solo content and challenge to achieve. I played a Blood DK at that time and the last two Raid bosses, where the best loot dropped were some of the easiest ones in a while.

I liked the Allied Race grinds. Lots of fun lore. And you pretty much had them all at exalted prior to their release if you played somewhat regularly.

There is a grind for a cooking recipe in Nazjatar called Unagi Skewer. It drops from a specific daily quest. That quest is only available when you pick a specific bodyguard. Then after selecting the bodyguard you have to fly over to the location of the daily quest and check to see if the recipe is part of the reward or not. Its another case of double-RNG as the daily quest isn't available every day, and even if the quest is available its a very low chance to have the recipe as part of the rewards. Took me 4 months to get it.

When talking about the corrupted gear you forget a tidbit that made getting them a pain. Yes, when adding the vendor it made getting the type of corruption easier but the corruption that the vendor offered was on a weekly rotation. So if you missed a week that had the effect you were looking for or you didn't have enough of the currency to purchase it you had to wait three weeks to get a chance to buy it again. I feel like I'm the only one that liked Visions of N'zoth. One of the few side things I actually finished all the achievements for when current and got lucky with the mail muncher mount. Only annoying part is getting the currency to get the key to let you into the visions and finally obtained the toy from the SW vision this year.

I expected to see the Rajani and Uldum Accord on this list tbh. I had the 100 rep achievement at the time, including the Insane, but these two reps were so tedious and slow, even I didn't do them.

Ugh yeah making it so the new races added with the expansion were only unlockable by playing through the exapansion was just garbage....like I already PAID for the expansion and new races are supposed to be part of that.... now I have to play through most of the expansion to get those races....so I can just play through it again?

Benthic gear was really easy to acquire and I don’t remember it being at all difficult to upgrade. There was only like two good pieces/buffs. Surprised to see it so high on the list.

U missed a crucial part about azerite armor and the vendor that sold corruption. The vendor did not have all the different corruptions all the time, (i think) it was a 2 month rotation cycle. With azerite armor it was also closely ties to your heart of azeroth lvls which means that if you had a piece you were using, had grinded the neck to that point and another azerite armor piece dropped for you, you could not use it due to your heart of azeroth lvl being to low so the effects were inactive.

There was kind of a fix to the azerite armor. If i remember correctly they implemented a vendor in which you could buy azerite armor. Lower prices for "rnd" azerite and insane prices for specific. There was options for nhc grade gear (rnd (cheap), specifc (expensive)) hc and mythic gear. In which if you wanted to have the best possible you had to save up for month. Kind of annoying cause at that time my guild was aiming for halls of fame, but you could at least catch up or do a main switch.

you forgot another crucial part in the mana pearl lottery - socket proccs. Secondary stats in legion/bfa scaled way better than main stats did so a socket procc on top of the correct effect procc (+dmg% within the raid) was invaluable. So one of the best ways to farm this gear was getting your alts Nazjatar-ready, hoping the correct Emissary-Quest was up and mailing account-bound benthic gear token to your main to roll the dice. And you had to get lucky on multiple benthic items as well. Prepping for your mythic raid took longer than actually progressing until the finish line.

Allied Races were unbelievably annoying to grind. Good thing Blizz got rid of all the requirements

Ive enjoyed this channel for so long I forgot hes just not that great at the game and plays mostly for collecting 😅. Every once in a while he mentions something as bad, or hard, that was a complete cake walk.
