I just picked up a 2002 4x4 crew cab duramax with 206, 000 miles . the body is a little rough but drives nice. i only paid $2500 lol :)

I have a 96 12v 506k miles it has 0 blow by doesn’t use any oil it leaks some but not bad at all and I’m pretty sure I hold the world record for dodge transmission it still has the one that came in it and never has been rebuilt lol staying up on maintenance pays off and I live in Alabama so it’s rust free

Once in awhile it runs out of oil. Remember to add oil when the top end starts raising hell.

hey rich I have a 1995 Cummins with a 47rh trans. cold air AFC full forward, starwheel adjusted. timing 17°. I had my transmission man 30 years experience build it that has built several chevy trans for me with no problems. This will be the 2nd full rebuild on this 47rh. he doesn't know what is causing it. finally he is sending the valve body out to get dynod/tested. I have never been happy with the way it has shifted. I had several trans shops tell me to throw that valve body away. Just wondered about your thoughts. I love your videos keep them coming.

Do you add anything to the diesel, like 2stroke oil or some fancy stuff?

It's a good idea to locktite and re torque the bolts holding the timing gear cover, they can come lose aswell with the same effect as the KDP.

There is lots of ways to put in a new front crank seal show us how how to do it the right way.
