i like the somewhat darker tone than older trailers - i really wish the best for Obsidian and that their Microsoft overlords give them the time and support they need to make it the best game it can become. Because a first person RPG set in the same setting as Pillars of Eternity is a pretty good frame for a good game :).

Such a crime that a studio with Obsidian's vision has to make a game with a fraction of the budget allocated to Bioware or BGS and the result STILL looks more inspired and put together. Gaming industry is beyond fucked.

I don't care if you're more of a core gamer or a casual gamer or a console gamer. GIVE PILLARS OF ETERNITY 1&2 a try BEFORE this comes out. Baldur's Gate 3 wouldn't exist if not for a little Kickstarter that proved classic cRPGs still have a place in these times.

Seems like third person is available for this game, honestly this is huge because I couldn’t really get invested with my character in outer worlds aside from my companions. Hope it’s the best of both worlds

Please obsidian. Made the game easily moddable. It looks like such a great template to expand upon, Skyrim still survives to this day thanks to mods.
