Sigma took the FP and turned it into a fashion statement instead of addressing the important technical concerns photographers have with the FP.

The camera reminds me of the Lecia T although there are more buttons/dials on the T. As for Fuji cameras I have owned the XT 2 and XH 1. Both are excellent for street, still-life and portrait, although with portrait photography the XT 2 sometimes misses focus on the eye, but the newer models may be better. The lenses especially the primes are super sharp.

I really want this camera I'm going to get it one day it's so beautiful and the image quality is exactly what I would need to document the life of my daughter. I can see myself dailying this for sure

Sigma knows what they've made: Bold and foolish. They made a stylish icon pushing the boundaries of modern camera design. And their approach to the camera menu will be followed by many. A special mention goes to their construction: as a user of the Quattro H, i can verify that it's made like a solid brick. Everything is sturdy and the quality of all buttons and wheels is beyond reproach. Makes other cameras feel like toys.

it's beautiful camera, but nothing more. However, I think the next iteration of it will be much better. smaller lenses, EVF, hot shoe, etc., If they had included built-in flash, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

When a camera has no EVF, the screen must be tested in the sun. In this case, it seems very difficult to use (Petapixel). Why wouldn’t you use your A6700 as every day carry instead ?

I trhink the menu system on Japanese cameras is a burden. Anything that eliminates or reduces that is great imo.
