My Favorite UT Weapons in RotMG - Least to Greatest

Continuing from last time where I ranked all of the UT abilities, today I'll be discussing my thoughts on every UT weapon in the game.

While these lists are harmless fun and not meant to be taken too seriously, I should clear a few things up:


- Sprite Wand does have an average dps close to t12, but again, it's amplitude and damage range leave it impractical for me
- The placement of the katanas may change with more experience handling the samurai, but Ray is still my favorite for having an extra tile than doku (and shooting sun beams is cool)
- Bow of the Void, unfortunately didn't have its information updated on the DPS Calculator, so I was unaware that it does have higher dps than Leaf Bow
- Dirk of Cronus and Etherite were re-balanced to have Cronus win at higher defense with more damage and a slightly reduced rate of fire. However, I had taken a short break from both realm and YouTube when this had happened, so these updates flew over my head, even when checking realmeye.


Sorry for any confusion, I'll be sure to get all my facts straight for the next time that I do this.

14:23 Since the LH 2.0 Update where the LH uts got buffed, the Void Bow does significantly more damage than leaf bow at every situation, only being outdamaged by the nectar crossfire at low def and dbow at around 165 def. If you looked the dps graphs at pfiffel, then its probably wrong because they didnt update the damage buff of the void bow. Realmeye also confirms it in the last paragraph of their note.
Thats why i prefer void bow much much more than the leaf bow.

i probably wouldn't agree with putting ray over doku, but im not super experienced with the katana classes.... nevertheless, we can all reach the simple conclusion:

As someone who's used a spirit staff on a wizard, it's very efficient for dungeon farming as a maxed wizard can burn through small enemies with no problem and it beats any conventional staff in cases where shield of ogmur is in play. It also has the unique benefit of being able to just barely shoot past geometry in front of you like the small pillars in the tomb of the ancients although it can get awkward with how line of sight works, and in that same vein it's a tiny bit harder to hit both shots due to that amplitude. I'd say it's a nice concept and definitely worth being a white bag but not something anybody desperately needs. (Will need to test how it works on mystic given that's what the UT set is for, but I'm sure it's hilarious to give yourself berserk and fire at mach speeds)

I agree with you about the cstaff and forbidden jungles. That's why I'm so hyped about the secluded thicket I've been wanting an epic forbidden jungle ever since the other 3 dungeons were initially released

ive been playing since wildshadow (still not good lol) but i know what youre talking about with realm being bloated, cronus is without a doubt my favorite item in the game and i just recently got one for my assassin. loved this video
