The commentators didn't do proper research. Kurt Thomas won gold on the high bar at the World Championships back in 1979, and he was the first and only American gymnast who had done it until Brody Malone came along. USA ended a 43-year gold medal drought on that apparatus

Jade gives away so much on not pointing her toes, bent legs, and rarely hits the splits. Her coaches need to change her routines to less split jumps and maybe add the turns and work on her legs and toes and then her difficulty will always have her win
