Incase anyone has the same problem as me:
I actually wanted the opposite effect as the midi controller I'm using is from Intech Studio and their buttons default to momentary cc.

Easy workaround:
Route the momentary button to a macro knob from an audio effect rack unit, and route that knob to what ever plug in you want. The amount of knobs are technically limited by 8 but you can just repeat the process for as many buttons as you have ;)

Thanks so much, i wish i would be smart enough to know how to edit my buttons in M4L to just act like momentary, but the workaround with this works wonderfully! :)

Cool device- I just started testing it. It kinda reminds me of Momentary 8 and Momentary Param Booster. I still have no idea why Ableton (or Akai) hasn't released an editor for their dedicated controllers. It great to see the creativity that sparks within their user base, though
