History of JSK-koubou's circular saw slide guide 2018-2022

In 2017, I started woodworking in earnest with the creation of a work room.
The making of the work room is also up.
Part 1
Part 2

Four years have passed since then.

When I think about it now, I am impressed that the work room was often made with only a drill and a circular saw, without any jigs.

Here is a summary of the records for the last four years. I would be happy if you could refer to something.

2018 First circular saw slide guide
2018 improved slide guide
2019 Panel saw type slide guide
2020 Aluminum Frame Circular Saw Slide Guide
2022 Free-standing panel saw

I made the 2020 version for my little apartment. I used to have a big woodworking shop, but now I live in a big city where it's not possible. I saw your video on the 2020 version a year of so ago and built it. I made it so I can use it for a work top when I'm not using it to cut wood/aluminum. It's super accurate and has spawned a lot of other projects for my tiny space here. Thanks!

A great story and also a lot of generosity, because he always shares his great knowledge with everyone! Greetings from Brazil and great admiration for your excellent work!

This is a fascinating study of tool evolution. initially it is roughly accurate and at a level of material use that most hobbyists can replicate, as you refine the jigs and develop onwards to the panel saw you have taken the tool to a professional level. it is up to the viewer to now go away and try to make their own at the level they need. i'll use this video as inspiration for my own shop tool.

I like how you demonstrate a cut, then proceed to build the project step by step, and finally return to the original demonstration. Your video shows an evolution of both tools and skills.

I admire and love everything this man does! he started with just basic tools and then progressively adapted and innovated, and improved all of his tools and jigs. Any work he now does looks absolutely effortless! The best thing is the the outstanding quality of his video's, the precision he works with and the logical application to every aspect of his work! The axiom of a picture tells a thousand words, is perfected to the nth degree. Well done for sharing your knowledge it been a fantastic experience!

This is interesting to notice the evolution of the cost of the guides too: from simple and inexpensive to complicated and costy.

I've been coming to this video since 2019,
In particular, I observed and learned the idea and practice of vertical sliding circular saws.
He has high skills in making many tools and jigs. Support creator Kubo. Have a nice day.

Maestro is the name given to the highest skilled person and you are way ahead of a maestro. Dear Maestro I don't like you for not wearing protective gloves for the very precious hands.❤
