This was the one anime I watched from start to finish while it was in production. Every other anime I would watch after a few eps or seasons had already came out. The final “glad you liked it” from the entire gang actually made me cry. I don’t cry, but I did. This anime holds a special place in my heart esp since I’m tryna be a professional chef. They truly deserve each other.

I think the manga ending was better because they met after 8-9 years later, and they are adult. Also, Souma has a monologue remembering his dad's advice, and he realiced that his special someone was Erina.

But anime version still good none the less.
