They talk as if they’re the party that has been in opposition for the last 14 years. Gaslighting at its finest

There is no limit to the list of things Sunak doesn't understand 😂😂 It's not just housing.

A job appraisal is based on your last year to 18 months. Sunak has done nothing noteworthy in this time beyond maintaining status quo and bad mouthing any opposition or objective criticism. Sorry Sunak, you are fired.

"Democracy is when there is a majority of free, poor men who have authority to rule, while oligarchy is when it is in the hands of the wealthy and well-born, who are a minority." - Aristotle
Britain is not a democracy. Its an oligarchy.

I'm 32 and I live in rented property with my partner, I'm not sure we'll ever be able to save enough to own our own place with the cost of rent and just general cost of living. The only people I know from my generation that own homes are the people who's parents have bought for them.

14 years of Tories in power: « England worst place in developed world to find housing, says OECD report. UK’s expensive, cramped and ageing housing stock offers the worst value for money of any advanced economy. » « Switzerland and the UK have more expensive housing than other European countries according to Eurostat. Housing in the UK was 56% higher than the EU's average. » No wonder people want them ousted.

The Tories have had 14 years to make the future better.
And in all those 14 years all they have done is make their own future better.

Where are the affordable housing that the Tories promised? I have seen "starter homes" advertised for £450000, yes, almost half a million for a starter home!

You shouldn't have to have a "good job" to afford a home. My grandparents worked in a factory and they were still able to afford a two bedroomed terrace.

When I speak to the children of millionaires, it is the deposit they are worried about ! HOW MANY hundreds of thousands of pounds will mommy and daddy give me ?

Its not just the younger generation anymore. There is a large number of people like me, early 40's, forced to rent for the past 20 years, without a bank of mum & dad, with rental increases guaranteed year on year. Recently received a no fault eviction from our landlord of 7 years and currently looking for somewhere to live in our local area. Two bed flats are now 3k plus pcm. Estate agents make it harder by treating the market like ebay. Every flat we've viewed is not available at the advertised asking price instead being used to get people interested so they can instigate a blind bidding war.
