I got put in the icu for infective endocarditis. I had a pick line in my heart for a week. I got released 3 months ago.
I'm not sure about whether or not I still have it or why I wasn't stayed on antibiotics.
I've been back to a local E.R. and wasn't told anything other than things look OK now.
I've been having a lot of chest pain lately. So I'm worried.

Dr. my father started IV antibiotics for 4 days now without having a blood culture test regarding his endocarditis which was diagnosed through heart echo. Is it too late now to have one and can we continue IV treatment without it ? Thank you for your help

Blood culture positive with sensitivity meropnm minocycline And other 2 more drug . We giving mero and mino Whn we stop antibiotics fever come again again me from india dr done echo no vegetation seen bt tee show 1 cm absecess … mma operated in 1995 and change valve mechanical valve ….
