This may be the angriest I have ever been!

Life from the skewed perspective of an OLDER woman.
Life sends curveballs everyday, nothing goes as planned and I'm still surprised...every...single....time.

My Amazon recommendations. I use EACH of these products myself. When you order from these links I get a monetary benefit. Thank you!

Trust me when I tell you that you don't want them working in the below zero temps coming up. Years back, we had work done on the outside of our house in that kind of frigid weather. The workers were absolutely frozen and the work turned out like crap and had to be re done. It was a nightmare. Try to be patient and you will be in before you know it. Spring is around the corner! 🌼

Hang in there Margaret, things will come together soon. Happy that you are physically feeling much better. Keep positive and keep that beautiful smile! ❤

Margaret, don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s normal for you to feel frustration with your situation. Take a breath, some things are just out of our control. You are brave to share your real emotions.

I would be livid! Good on you for not losing your cool with your son and daughter-in-law. You got this Margaret, I know it’s hard. 😱

I can't believe he drove two days by himself just to see his Mama!! He was here a couple of days and drove back on Tues, he had to be back to work on Thurs! God blessed me with a wonderful son!!❤❤❤❤

Building is never on schedule my friend… I’ve built too many homes over the years and my husband was a builder but things drop off schedule. My prayers are with you to get to feeling better 🤗 Lea

My first time seeing you and found connection and caring. I’m now subscribed and plan to check in and, also, share! Good to see anger and frustration is shared! 78yo here, rare medical issues, and a need to listen to others and share. Thank you, Margaret, for being Margaret!!!❤

I’m with Margaret on the heat situation! I am a New England girl living in Texas with my son. As cold as it may yet, I turn the heat off at night cause I can’t breathe if the heat is 65° or higher. Fortunately, I have control over my own heat and my own privacy. Honey, just hang on it’ll all come to fruition and you’ll be looking back and be able to laugh at it.❤️

Oh Margaret, you don't want to hear about my winter 😎 I live in the cold snowy northeast, near Toronto, in Canada but since retiring, my hubby & I decided to spend our winter in sunny southern California, in a condo right on the beach. It is gorgeous here and I am heading out for a walk in the sand along the shore of the Pacific Ocean before the football games start...lucky me and I know how blessed I am to be here. We earned this!😍

so sorry about things being postponed. I know it is frustrating. But you are in the home stretch and you can do this!!! We are out here routing for you and the progress of your home. We all can not wait to see the finished project! Until then, deep breaths and hug that little granddaughter of yours!!

Yup.. I know how difficult it is to realize that one cannot control everything all the time. It took me a while to come to grips with it, but now I just step back and let and work on what I know I can control . I am 78 and have found people don’t see me as a an important player anymore. Be well.

Thank goodness the build will be behind you soon! Not much news on my end - been feeling under the weather and it’s one of those things that you don’t know if you can get rid of it on your own or need to go to the doctor. I did get out yesterday for a nice winter walk in nature with one of my grown sons. That was so nice. It was cold and icy but I’m hoping the fresh air will shock the ucks out of me! Hope today brings you much joy!

There's a phrase I've been hearing slot these past couple years to which I totally agree. "Justifiable Anger". Doesn't make the situation any better but somehow makes me feel a bit better that my anger isn't off the wall. You'll handle this setback because you can! Thx Margaret for being Margaret!

Good for you to insisting on wood floors. The right choice for durability and value.

Margaret, I am with you, Sister! I totally understand your aggravation over people just deciding, "I don't want to work right now"! (I've decided it's because we're old 😂- I will be 80 in June and am a Widow)
I have had a week like yours. I live in a Tiny Home community and I LOVE our community. I call it our Paradise Assisted Living Community 😊 We have "rules" that I feel are easy to abide by but there are always a few who believe rules do not apply to them!! So, I've lost it a couple of times to a good friend. (I love that I have friends I can vent to and get it off my chest)
Here's wishing you a wonderful upcoming week! Enjoy your Granddaughter b/c they grow up too fast.
Love your YouTube Channel. 🥰

Hi Margaret!
I’m so glad you’re getting better. I’m in the process of decluttering, organising, and trying to be more of a minimalist something I’ve never been. This is harder than I thought. I’ve been watching your videos while working around the house and you seem to be inspiring me, lol. It’s in the 30’s and 40’s here in Oregon and in the 20’s next week. While checking out Zillow, the Eastern coast is calling once again. BTW any ideas for an English cottage kitchen you might care to share? Going back to my donation bin, lol. Thank you for this video, things will work out just don’t let setbacks get you down. Take care of yourself ❤
