2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Review and Off-Road Test: The strong, silent type

Показать описание
For all the reasons you can imagine, and a few you can’t, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe is among the most uniquely charming vehicles on the market. Beyond the obvious — it’s a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), after all — there’s something fascinating about an off-roader that’s simultaneously so capable and yet so quiet.

But most distinctive of all is the way it performs once the pavement ends. Make no mistake, this is a range-topping Rubi through and through, and the electrical components do nothing to take away from the baked-in capability. In fact, they just might add to it.

Looks like Minden Hydro Line / Scotch line . Was there yesterday so funny to watch this video today. I would LOVE that forward facing camera, wonder if that would help in lieu of a spotter in some places

Here I am 2 years later watching this. The 2024 models have a Power Box, so you can use the large battery to power your RV or whatever now. I do like the idea of an in town EV, but can still go have fun without worrying about the EV range.

In order to get the full benefit of the 375hp and 470lb ft of torque, you should keep the gear selector in 4H Auto. Power is cut slightly when in 2H mode.

I'm watching this review in 2024 and it's funny because these complaints about price are laughable in today's market. Paying $1000 for heated steering wheel and seats is CHEAP compared to paying for that as an aftermarket upgrade.

Be careful about The battery. I found the battery on a Demo car has problem. Fully charged and drive 12km (Hybrid mode), just left 12% in the next morning. Was thinking about it, but give it up after the 2 days test drive.

I have one on order. I have never been in one. I'm 6'3 280, will I have enough room? I ask as you seem to be a big guy, and it looked a little uncomfortable for you.

You look like a giant trying to squeeze into a clown car, my god the jeep is small. I like the Gladiator rubicon and would get it in Diesel, but it's so small
